Okanagan Tourism Project
OKConnect.events, is a very large project created by Form Web Design. The goal is to build a premier tourism website solely for the Okanagan, BC. The design is to research, collect and consolidate information on tourism locations and events, all into one website. Tourists and local residents could then easily find things to do when in the Okanagan.
The website uses a premium WordPress theme for its framework, where the tourism content page layouts are all custom by Form Web Design.
This project is ongoing, since there is a huge amount of information to find and collect on a long list of categories.
Summary of Project Work:
- WordPress CMS and premium WordPress theme for travel, news, magazine style,
- Lots of customization (CSS, Scripts, HTML5) to condense display of tourism information, specially for mobile devices,
- OKCE logo created by Form Web Design,
- All images created, made or modified by Form Web Design,
- Icons from NounProject & modified for OKCE use,
- Information collected and laid out by Form Web Design,
- Page content displaying tourism locations is all custom,
