New Professional eBike & SUP Board Rental Website
Sokal Board and Bike Rentals is new website for a local eBike and SUP Board rental service located in Lake Country, BC. The owner developed and manufactured his own eBicycles and Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Boards. He needed a new website to display his service, what his business offers to the public and a means for people to book/rent his equiptment and make payment for the rentals online.
The owner of Sokal Rentals chose Form Web Design to build his business website.
The owner of Sokal Rentals also owns another related website, which Form Website also built: Fluidmotion Board & Bike Sales.
*Note: The owner of Sokal Rentals sold his business this spring of 2020, including the ownership of his website. The new owner of Sokal Rentals has made some of his own changes to the website, such as images and text content. The layout as built by Form Web Design remains the same. Form Web Design builds websites so its owners can change their own content.
Summary of Our Work:
- Installed a WordPress framework and selected a free professional Multi-purpose WordPress theme,
- Customized the theme and content layout,
- Completed some CSS & PHP custom coding to the theme and WooCommerce plugin,
- Edited product images for use on the website,
- Researched competition to Sokal Rentals to develop competitive SEO content,
- Developed the layout of the pages,
- Obtained icons from Noun Project and created new service icons for the top section of the website home page,
- Google business account setup for best Google SEO,
- Setup WooCommerce for online payments-purchases,
- Setup WooCommerce bookings plugin for customers to book & pay for rentals of eBikes or Boards online.
- Added products for sale connected to clients Fluidmotion website, which Form Web Design also built.
